Welcome to The Ridge
The basics every new and prospective homeowner should know.
At a glance

- A 45-acre Common Recreational Area with a 4-acre lake and dock, owned by the HOA and shared by all residents.
- South Rockwall County, about 20 miles east of Dallas near Lake Ray Hubbard.
First things to do
-
Get connected
Join the Ridge Neighborhood Facebook group — that's where day-to-day community communication happens.
-
Transfer certificate
If you've just purchased a lot, contact the Secretary for a transfer certificate. The $350 ownership transfer fee is typically collected by the title company at closing. See the Officers page for contact.
-
Mark your calendar
Annual dues are $600 per lot, due January 1. An account becomes delinquent on February 1; a $50 administrative fee is applied at that point and $10 each month thereafter. Full details on the Fees & Dues page.
-
Read your governing documents
The Declaration of Covenants and the Bylaws set out what you can and can't do with your lot. The searchable reading copies on the HOA Documents page are the easiest way to get oriented.
-
Planning an exterior project?
Anything visible from the street — fences, paint, structures, hardscape, significant landscape changes — needs Architectural Review Committee approval before you start. Submit the ARC application from the Docs page.
-
Annual fall meeting
The Association holds its annual meeting each fall; date and location are announced via the Facebook group and email.
Questions?
